A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between The University of Management and Technology (UMT) and Mehergarh: A Centre for Learning, Islamabad.
Vice Rector Academics, UMT Prof. Dr. Ejaz Allah Cheema, Ms. Maliha Husain (Executive Director Mehergarh, Islamabad), Prof. Dr. Nauman Khalid (Convener, Anti-Harassment Committee (AHC)/Dean School of Food and Agricultural Sciences (SFAS)), Prof. Dr. Yasira Waqar (Dean School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSSH)), Dr. Syedah Sadia Kazmi (Assistant Professor, School Focal Person Anti-Harasment Committee), and Ms. Yasmin Zohaib (Secretary, Anti-harassment Committee/Manager Academic, SSSH Dean's Office), were present at the occasion.
The MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at promoting awareness, research, training, capacity building, and policy dialogue on issues related to human rights, gender equality, harassment prevention, workplace dignity, and social inclusion. This partnership is expected to facilitate more structured and meaningful engagement between the two institutions through joint academic activities, awareness initiatives, workshops, and future collaborative projects.
