Guest Lecture by a mother of a student with Autism (A Success Story)

A guest lecture was organized for students enrolled in the certificate course on “Behavior Management of Children with Autism.” The guest speaker was a mother of a child with moderate autism who achieved remarkable academic success, earning 3 A's and 4 B's in his O-level exams. The lecture was arranged by Dr. Amna Arif, Associate Professor in the Department of Education at UMT, who serves as the course's resource person. This insightful online session was open to all, attracting numerous participants from outside UMT as well. The lecture provided a unique perspective on the real-life challenges and triumphs of managing autism, inspiring many attendees.
