Dr. Fatima Sajjad is a distinguished Pakistani academic, researcher, and thought leader in the field of International Relations. Her work has significantly shaped academic discourse in Pakistan, especially in the areas of decoloniality, critical peace studies, and epistemic justice. Internationally recognized for her thought leadership, Dr. Sajjad has presented at prominent academic platforms including Presidential talk at Nelson Mandela Chair for Afro-Asian Studies at MGU India, conferences in Turkey, Japan, Brazil, Philippines, India, Iran, Singapore , Spain, Canada and the United States. She has played a key institutional role at UMT by founding the Center for Critical Peace Studies—Pakistan’s first such initiative—which promotes interdisciplinary research and pedagogy rooted in critical peace and decolonial studies.
