DPSIR signed MOU with Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI), Islamabad

As part of the National Outreach Program, Department of Political Science and International Relations (DPSIR) signed an MOU with Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI), Islamabad. The MOU was signed by COD DPSIR Dr Usman Askari and Manager Communication CPDI Ms Nosheen Khurram. Other faculty members included Assistant Professor Dr Sadia Kazmi and Lecturer Saad Malik.
CPDI works on the concept of equitable distribution of resources. It is actively engaged in advocacy and drafting laws revolving around transparency. For that purpose it engages with Parliament and the standing committees. It is also involved in capacity building of the journalists for awareness on critical issues like budget and climate. CPDI partners with leading organizations and universities like USAID, EU, GIZ. It is currently working on out of school youth with university councils.
