National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) launched a 4-day maritime training workshop from July 21 till July 24, 2025, for young leadership of Pakistan, bringing together experts and participants from various institutions. Under an MoU signed between Department of Political Science and International Relations, Dr Saddaf Sultaana and Dr Hafiz Imran Ahmed Qureshi along undergrduate students of BS Interantional Relations attended training workshop.
The four-day maritime training workshop organized by the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) concluded successfully with engaging sessions on coral reef preservation, sustainable maritime tourism, and value chain resilience in Pakistan’s blue economy. Experts including Cdr Tariq Mahmood (R), Ms. Aneela Khan, and Ms. Sahar Malik emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship and innovative maritime strategies. The workshop concluded on a high note, reaffirming NIMA’s commitment to maritime awareness, youth engagement, and sustainable development.
