Meal Planning and Eating for Health: A Medical Sociological Perspective April, 2023
Monday, July 24, 2023The Department of Sociology arranged a research dissemination session on meals planning and eating for health, highlighting the medical sociological perspective. The session observed a team of nutritionists condensing and disseminating nutrition information for various socioeconomic statuses. Heeding to the issue of food security, the session highlighted the irreversible effects of climate change, over population and how food security will be an imminent threat if the public are not made aware. Hence the sessions are of great service to the public and university alike.
