MEd Educational Leadership and Management

In the wake of increased demand for quality education, the need for competent educational managers has increased manifold. The mushrooming growth of private institutions is an apparent response to the meet this need. However, quality and relevance of education is a function of the educational leadership, which is lacking in teacher education programs. These programs offered by the institutions of higher learning are not geared to meet the emergent needs. Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Management (MEd ELM) is a one year program for graduates possessing BEd degrees.

The field-based nature of the program makes it particularly attractive for those who are already working in educational institutions as head teachers/principals, school supervisors, managers, vice principals and prospective head teachers.
