Besides having a decade long experience of teaching wide range of courses on Islamic Civilization,Comparative Study of Civilizations, Orientalism, Islamic Thought and Hadith Sciences at post Graduate level, Dr Humaira has also been editing Journal of Islamic Thought and Civilization (SCOPUS, ProQuest and HEC recognized) for past 10 years. She has also supervised M.Phil and PhD theses. Her area of interests are Islamic Intellectual Thought, Islamic Civilization, Islamic Intellectual History, Muslim Societies, Orientalism, Hadith Sciences, Modernist Discourses in Islam and Postmodern Debates in Islam.
