Dr Shafique Qurban is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations in University of Management and Technology, Lahore. His research interests include Identity Crisis, Public Policy, Extremism, Constitutionalism, Education and Women’s Empowerment. He is author of a book entitled "Education Policy and the Construction of Neo-Liberal Citizenship in Pakistan: Revisiting the Musharraf Era, 1999-2008", published by Routledge.
