Faculty DPSIR comprising former chairman Dr. Muhmmad Shoaib Pervez, Lecturer Inamullah Marwat & Lecturer Imran Ahmed Qureshi attended the International Symposium entitled “Decolonization of Islamic Studies: Trajectories and Prospects”, organized by the Department of Islamic Thought and Civilization, UMT, Lahore in collaboration with Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue, International Islamic University, Islamabad, on December 4, 2023, at UMT, Lahore. In the symposium, Dr. Abdulkader Tayob, Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, delivered an insightful lecture on the Decolonization of Islamic Studies.
