Dr. Sajid Masood is in the field of education since 1993. He started his career as Science Teacher in The Punjab School Lahore in 1993. He was appointed as Principal Boys Wing of the same school in 1994 and worked there till 2001. He was responsible to look after academic needs of more than 1500 students with a team of more than 100 teachers. In year 2001 he was asked to head newly established professional development center in the same school. Mr. Sajid headed the center till 2003 and looked after professional development needs of more than 300 teachers.

 

In 2003 a second branch of the same school was established in northern Lahore and Mr. Sajid was entrusted responsibilities of its pioneer principal. Mr. Sajid worked in the same capacity till 2005 and then joined Department of Education of the University of Management and Technology. Dr. Sajid served as Chief Executive Officer of the Knowledge School Network and looked after academic and marketing needs of the fastest growing school franchise system of the ILM Trust. Dr Sajid worked as Chairman Department of Education and completed tenure. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education.

 

He has earned Masters in Science Education from Institute of Education and Research, Punjab University and MA in Educational Leadership and Management from the UMT. He did M.Phil. in Education followed by the PhD from the UMT. His dissertation in PhD investigated effect of examination on curriculum and instruction at elementary level in the Punjab. Dr Sajid is certified in Teaching & Research from School of Education & Human Development George Mason University Virginia, USA. He is also certified in Mixed Methods research from National University Singapore.
