Ghazala Ishrat
Special Educationist | Expert in Hearing Impairment and Sign Language
Ghazala Ishrat is a recognized Special Education professional known for her ability to bring energy and enthusiasm to her work. With more than 20 years of practical experience, she has mastered teaching children with special needs, specifically those with hearing impairment. Her fluency in Sign Language and extensive experience as a sign language interpreter for B.S., Master's, and M.Phil. classes at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) have made her a trusted figure in the field. Ghazala was honored with the Employee of the Quarter Award at UMT in 2018 for her exceptional dedication and contributions. She was part of the Sign Language Committee, which played a significant role in compiling the first Pakistan Sign Language book, published by the Hamza Foundation Academy for the Deaf in Johar Town.
