Department of Political science and International Relations congratulates Dr Fatima Sajjad

The entire faculty and staff of DPSIR Congratulates Dr Fatima Sajjad for achieving milestones on the academic sphers. She presented paper titled ' Lagging behind others: Exploring Transformation of Muslims' Educational Outlook in Modern Times' in The international conference, “Decolonizing Global Studies: Charting Trends, Mapping Trajectories” is organized by the Decolonial Studies Program of the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies in partnership with the International Studies Department of Miriam College and the Philippine International Studies Organization. The academic gathering is set for scholars, researchers, students, and practitioners who are interested or engaged in decolonial studies and related fields. The two-day event is scheduled on 11-12 September 2020

2) She gave a keynote lecture invited by Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) Islamabad and Community Resilience Network ,  on CVE and Education Policy attended by faculty and researchers working on CVE in Pakistan on Sep 15 , 2020.

3) She won a research grant worth 9.5 lakh for a project on Education and Community Resilience against Violent Extremism by Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) Islamabad. The project aims to rethink higher education policy to counter extremism on campus
