Dr. Qaisar Khan
Dr Qaiser Khan is working as Associate Professor of English in the Department of English Literature and Linguistics, University of Malakand. Currently, he is also chairperson of the department. As a graduate student, he completed M.Phil degree from University of Malakand and PhD in English Linguistics in Faculty of Higher Studies, National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Islamabad. During the course of PhD studies, he also remained a research fellow in University of North Texas (UNT), USA under NUML-UNT partnership. He has published several research articles in national and international journals. His areas of interest include language, gender, curriculum and education. His recent research endeavors are to understand the working and operation of madrassas (religious seminaries) and to investigate the scope and relevance of English language in their curriculum with a view to reform and bring seminaries into the mainstream education system in Pakistan.
