Prof. Alan Johnson
Prof. Alan Johnson is professor of English at Idaho State University, where he teaches Postcolonial Literature, specializing on India, his birthplace. As a Fulbright lecturer in India in 2010, he focused on globalization and literature, and on another India Fulbright in 2016-17, he studied forest images in modern Indian literature as part of his current book project. He is the author of Out of Bounds: Anglo-Indian Literature and the Geography of Displacement (2011) and articles on topics like environmental literature in India, Bollywood film, and the importance of the humanities
