Dr Asmaa Azeem, an HEC approved PhD supervisor, is with 22 years of diverse public and private sector higher education experience. She has joined the School of Social Sciences and Humanities at UMT as Lecturer in Special Education in February 2010. She has secured her PhD degree with specialization in Disability Inclusion with major emphasis on Intellectual & developmental delay, minor with advanced studies in hearing impairment. Besides teaching responsibilities she served as Academic Coordinator and Students’ Advisor and also accomplished the projects of programs accreditation of MA Special Needs Education and BS Special Needs Education. She is subject specialist at Punjab Public Service commission. She is member of "Service rules restructuring committee" at the department of special education, Govt. of Punjab. She is incharge "Center for Inclusive Education" at UMT, an active member of "University Standing Accessibility Committee" at UMT and nominated "Disability Coordinator".
