Major Courses (12 credit hours)

All participants must complete 4 courses with a total of 12 credit hours from the following list of courses which cover the major fields of International Relations. These courses may follow the seminar approach. (It is to be noted that the following list not exhaustive, new courses may be added to it in accordance with the expertise of available teaching faculty).

Culture and Politics: Identity in International Relations 03
Social Constructivism: deconstruction of reality in International Relations 03
Islam in International Relations: Jihad and Political Islam in a secularized world 03
Green Politics: Global Environmental regimes 03
The Politics of Global Migration 03
China in the International System 03

Minor (Elective) Course (3 credit hours):

One elective course to be chosen from the parallel PhD program offered by Dept. of Political
Science at UMT , with the approval of Department’s Graduate Committee.

Dissertation (24 credit hours) app. 80,000-100,000 words
