Haider Naqvi has completed his Masters in June 2019 in Political Science from the Central European University. Central European University is ranked in the top 30 universities in Political Science, globally, as per the QS ranking. Haider earned a scholarship in the master program in Political Science of the university (CEU). He specialized in the track of Political and Social Theory, and therefore most of the courses he studied during the masters were related to the specific track. Haider completed his thesis on the topic of “Individual Choice and Responsibility in the Backdrop of Just Institution” in which he proposed an amended theory of the philosopher Ronald Dworkin. His work was highly praised by the theorists back in his university. 


Before going for his master, Haider taught in different organization including The Citizen Foundation and Rabt. The last institution where he happened to be a permanent teacher was The Bridges School. Haider Naqvi completed his bachelors from the Lahore School of Economics in 2016. The nomenclature of his bachelor’s degree was Double Major in Economics and Political Sciences. Haider had the highest CGPA in the batch of Double Majors in Economics and Political Sciences. He also received scholarship during his bachelors and maintained it till the end. During his bachelors Haider also got the opportunity to become research and teaching associate. Haider Naqvi focuses on Political Theory and his research interests lie in Moral and Political Philosophy, mainly in Liberal Egalitarianism, Luck Egalitarianism, Marxist Theory, Religious Political Theory, Philosophy of Science and History of Political Thought. He has produced many research papers on the topics related to theory of justice, liberal egalitarianism, individual genuine choice, role of science in a democratic society etc. He can be reached at [email protected]
